You speak stars
Locusts in the next breath.
The night trembles
From words hovering over oceans
A voice, deep as the earth's innermost cavern
Pervasive. thunder echoing across the sky
Caressed in more than beauty Your mouth blessed all life.
A sunset between Your teeth.
Moons dripping from tongue to trees beneath
You lips give breath
And kiss with death.
From what is left amongst the depth of life that never rests?
Sounds escape You making
Hearts catch like fire.
Your mouthpiece devours us as we feed You our praises
Cry from the pit of Your stomach
Eating our sin
You speak. We begin
